Product Details

"Elizabeth Hall 1809 Weston School Sampler" is a reproduction cross stitch design by Birgit Tolman of The Wishing Thorn.  A gorgeous Quaker Sampler from the Weston School in Pennsylvania. The School was founded in 1799 by the Religious Society of Friends, the Quakers. This makes Elizabeth's sampler one of the earlier pieces from the school. Such elegance and simplicity. The layout of it is very pleasing to the eye as is the Roman-style alphabet that was favored by Quaker schools.

Design area 138 x 164 stitches.  This kit includes the pattern, Country Sampler's choice of 40 count linen and threads.

NOTE:  This pattern has both 1 over 1 and 1 over 2 stitching.  Aida would not be recommended.
