SPANISH SAMPLER Cross Stitch Pattern

"Spanish Sampler" is an antique cross stitch sampler by Schoolroom Samplers.  The designer stitched the model on 32 count linen and the stitch count is 223 wide x 166 high.  The sampler is in the collection of the Monmouth County Historical Association, Freehold, New Jersey.  The arrangement of borders surrounding a small central area of motifs is typical of Spanish samplers.
